District Judge Appointment: Cox
The King has appointed Louise Cox to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed her to the Midlands Circuit, based at Nottingham County Court, with effect from 8 January 2024.
Louise Cox will be known as District Judge Cox. She was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 2001. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2021 and as a Recorder in 2023.
