District Judge Appointment: Doucas

The King has appointed Alexandra Doucas to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill. 

The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Worthing County Court, with effect from 27 April 2026.

Background Information

Alexandra Doucas will be known as District Judge Doucas. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2006. She was appointed as a Fee paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber, in 2019. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2020.
