District Judge Appointment: Duckett
The King has appointed Louise Duckett to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Maidstone County Court, with effect from 1 April 2026.
Background Information
Louise Duckett will be known as District Judge Duckett. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2012. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2024.
