District Judge Appointment: Elboz
The Queen has appointed Sophie Elboz to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Western Circuit, based at Gloucester County Court and Bristol County Court with effect from 02 November 2020.
Background Information
Sophie Elboz, aged 50, will be known as District Judge Elboz. She was admitted to the Roll in 1994. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015 and Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber in 2019.
