District Judge Appointment: Falder
The King has appointed Katherine Falder to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, based at Preston County Court, with effect from 9 November 2026.
Katherine Falder will be known as District Judge Falder. She was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 2004. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2011. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
