District Judge Appointment: Gurvinder Singh
The King has appointed Gurvinder Bhakar to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed him to the Welsh Circuit, based at Cardiff Civil Justice Centre, with effect from 11 November 2024.
Gurvinder Bhakar will be known as District Judge Gurvinder Singh. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2009. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
