District Judge Appointment: Hussell

The Queen has appointed Julian Edward Hussell to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Wales Circuit, based at Cardiff Civil Justice Centre with effect from 6 December 2021.

Background Information

Julian Edward Hussell, aged 50, will be known as District Judge Hussell. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1998. He was appointed as both a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Social Entitlement Chamber) and a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
