District Judge Appointment: Longworth
The King has appointed Julia Gail Longworth to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed her to the Midlands Circuit, based at Telford County Court, with effect from 8 January 2024.
Julia Gail Longworth will be known as District Judge Longworth. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2004. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
