District Judge Appointment: Maltby
The King has appointed Helen Maltby to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Doncaster County Court, with effect from 13 July 2026.
Background Information
Helen Maltby will be known as District Judge Maltby. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2003. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2021.
