District Judge Appointment: McKeown

The King has appointed Sarah McKeown to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill. 

The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Wandsworth County Court, with effect from 1 June 2026.

Background Information

Sarah McKeown will be known as District Judge McKeown. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1998. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2020. She was also appointed as a Fee paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Property Chamber in 2021 and as a Recorder in 2022.
