District Judge Appointment: Mody

The Queen has appointed Ashwin Bhagwanji Mody to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at the Birmingham Civil and Family Justice Centre with effect from 31 January 2022.

Background Information

Ashwin Bhagwanji Mody, aged 57, will be known as District Judge Mody. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1988. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
