District Judge Appointment: O’Malley
The King has appointed Lynn O’Malley to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Chelmsford County Court with effect from Wednesday 1 February 2023.
Lynn O’Malley will be known as District Judge O’Malley. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1996. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber in 2011 and as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
