District Judge Appointment: Peters
The Queen has appointed Joanna Elizabeth Peters to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midland Circuit, based at Stoke-on-Trent Combined Court and Stafford Combined Court with effect from 4 November 2019.

Joanna Elizabeth Peters, aged 54 will be known as District Judge Peters. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1989. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013.
