District Judge Appointment: Rees
The King has appointed Rebecca Rees to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midlands Circuit, based at Leicester County Court and Family Court, with effect from 5 November 2026.
Background Information
Rebecca Rees will be known as District Judge Rees. She was admitted to the Roll in 1999. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2022.
