District Judge Appointment: Ryan
The Queen has appointed Jennifer Ryan to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, based at Wigan County Court with effect from 1 February 2022.
Background Information
Jennifer Ryan, aged 41, will be known as District Judge Ryan. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2005. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019 and a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Health, Education and Social Care Chamber) in 2021.
