District Judge Appointment: Sarah Smith
The Queen has appointed Sarah Naomi Smith to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Western Circuit, based at Swindon Combined Court with effect from 7 October 2019 on a salaried part time basis of 60%.

Sarah Naomi Smith, aged 51 will be known as District Judge Sarah Smith. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1992. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2004.
