District Judge Appointment: Sillis
The King has appointed Louise Sillis to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Cambridge and Peterborough County Courts, with effect from 5 February 2024.
Louise Sillis will be known as District Judge Sillis. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1994. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2020, and as a Recorder in 2023.
