District Judge Appointment: Talbot-Ponsonby
The King has appointed Thomas Talbot-Ponsonby to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Slough County Court and Family Court with effect from 6 January 2025.
Thomas Talbot-Ponsonby will be known as District Judge Talbot-Ponsonby. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2011. He was previously a solicitor between 1999 and 2011. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge and as a Fee-paid Employment Judge in 2021.
