District Judge Appointment: Thomas Ring
The King has appointed Thomas Ring to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Chelmsford County Court with effect from 13 January 2025.
Thomas Ring will be known as District Judge Thomas Ring. He was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1987. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal Judge, Social Entitlement Chamber 2011.
