District Judge Appointment: Veltom
The King has appointed Lauren Veltom to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Luton County Court, with effect from 1 April 2026.
Lauren Veltom will be known as District Judge Veltom. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2011. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2022 and as a Fee paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Health Education and Social Care Chamber in 2025.
