District Judge Appointment: Warner
The King has appointed David Warner to be a District Judge on the advice of the then Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midlands Circuit, based at Wolverhampton Combined Court, with effect from 1 October 2026.
Background Information
David Warner will be known as District Judge Warner. He was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1996. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019 and as a Recorder in 2020.
