District Judge Appointment: Watt
The King has appointed Trevor Watt to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Reading County Court, with effect from 25 November 2024.
Background Information
Trevor Watt will be known as District Judge Watt. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2015. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2021. In 2024 he was appointed as a Fee paid Employment Judge, and as a Fee paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber.
