District Judge Appointment: Weir
The King has appointed Olivia Weir to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Sheffield Combined Court Centre, with effect from 20 March 2023.
Background Information
Olivia Weir will be known as District Judge Weir. She was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1995. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2016.
