The King has appointed Nermine Abdel Sayed to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon. 

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Bromley Magistrates’ Court with effect from 9 January 2023.

Background Information

Nermine Abdel Sayed will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Abdel Sayed. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2001. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2017 and as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber in 2021.
