District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Appointment: Allman
The King has appointed Kirsty Allman to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the Western Circuit, based at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court with effect from 2 June 2025.
Background Information
Kirsty Allman will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Allman. She was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 2005. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge and as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2022. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2024.
