The Queen has appointed Louisa Joanna Ciecióra to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Thames Magistrates’ Court with effect from 3 February 2020.

Louisa Joanna Ciecióra, aged 40, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) Ciecióra. She was called to the Bar (I) in 2002. She was appointed as a Chair of the Police Appeals Tribunal in 2014 and as a Recorder in 2019.
