The Queen has appointed Lucy Corrin to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Bromley Magistrates’ Court with effect from 1 February 2022
Lucy Corrin, aged 43, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) Corrin. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2001. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber, in 2019.
