District Judge (Magistrates’ Courtss) Appointment: Currer
The Queen has appointed Paul Joseph Currer to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at North Tyneside Magistrates’ Court with effect from 28 January 2020.

Paul Joseph Currer, aged 54 will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) Currer. He was called to the Bar (M) in 2000. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) in 2017.
