The Queen has appointed Paul Donegan to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court with effect from 1 November 2021.

Background Information

Paul Donegan, aged 50, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) Donegan. He was admitted to the Roll in 2005. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) in 2019 and as a Recorder in 2019.
