The Queen has appointed Daniel Sternberg to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Westminster Magistrates’ Court with effect from 10 January 2022.

Background Information

Daniel Sternberg, aged 39, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) Sternberg. He was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 2006. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ courts), in 2019.
