District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Appointment: Woodrow

The King has appointed Lynette Woodrow to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP, and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.  

The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Southend Magistrates’ Court with effect from 30 June 2025. 

Background Information 

Lynette Woodrow will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Woodrow. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2007. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2022.
