The King has appointed Lorraine McDonagh to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Willesden Magistrates’ Court with effect from 23 January 2023.
Background Information
Lorraine McDonagh will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) McDonagh. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2002 and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2013. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
