The Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Lord Justice Dingemans has appointed Neil Burn to be a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber, with effect from 16 March 2026.
Neil Burn will be known as Tribunal Judge Burn. He was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 2008, and he was admitted to the roll in 2011. He was appointed as a Fee-paid First-tier Tribunal Judge in 2019. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019, and as a District Judge in 2024.
