Judge of the First-tier Tribunal Appointment: Heron

The Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Lord Justice Dingemans has appointed Christopher Heron to be a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the War Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation Chamber, with effect from 16 February 2026.
Christopher Heron will be known as Tribunal Judge Heron. He was admitted to the roll in 1997. He was appointed as a Fee-paid First-tier Tribunal Judge in 2013, and as a Salaried First-tier Tribunal Judge in 2018.
