The Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Lord Justice Dingemans has appointed Richard Jepson to be a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber, with effect from 2 March 2026.
Richard Jepson will be known as Tribunal Judge Jepson. He was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 2003 and admitted to the roll in 2005. In 2019 he was appointed as a Fee-paid First-tier Tribunal Judge and as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Court). He was authorised to sit as a Deputy Judge of the Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) in 2023.
