Judge of the First-tier Tribunal Appointment: Poynton

The Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Lord Justice Dingemans has appointed Anna Poynton to be a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber, with effect from 9 February 2026.
Anna Poynton will be known as Tribunal Judge Poynton. She was admitted to the roll in 2007. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Employment Judge in October 2021, as a Fee-paid First-tier Tribunal Judge in November 2021, and as a Deputy District Judge in 2024.
