The Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Lord Justice Dingemans has appointed Matt Smith to be a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber, with effect from 7 April 2026.
Matt Smith will be known as Tribunal Judge Matt Smith. He was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 1998. He was appointed as a Fee-paid First-tier Tribunal Judge in the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber in 2023.
