Judge of the First-tier Tribunal Appointment: Sorrell

The Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Lord Justice Dingemans has appointed Rosemary Sorrell to be a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber, with effect from 13 April 2026.
Rosemary Sorrell will be known as Tribunal Judge Sorrell. She was admitted to the roll in England & Wales in 1998 and Scotland in 2001. She was appointed as an Employment Judge in 2010, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2016 and appointed as a Legal Member of the General Regulatory Chamber in Scotland in 2015.
