Judge of the First-tier Tribunal Appointment: Van Beers

The Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Lord Justice Dingemans has appointed Rebecca Van Beers to be a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber, with effect from 23 February 2026.
Rebecca Van Beers will be known as Tribunal Judge Van Beers. She was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 2003 and admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2008. She was appointed as a Disability Qualified Tribunal Member in 2021, and as a Fee-paid First-tier Tribunal Judge in 2023.
