The Senior President of Tribunals, Lord Justice Dingemans has appointed Tribunal Judge Carlton Williams to be a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber, with effect from 5 January 2026.
Carlton Williams will be known as Tribunal Judge Carlton Williams. He was called to the bar (Middle Temple) in 2022. In 2020 he was appointed as a Chair of the Valuation Tribunal for England. He was appointed as a Fee-paid First-tier Tribunal Judge in 2023. In 2024 he was appointed as a Deputy Upper Tribunal Judge.
