The Senior President of Tribunals has appointed James Bowen to be a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber with effect from 3 June 2024.
James Bowen will be known as Judge Bowen. He was Admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2003. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Health, Education and Social Care Chamber in 2019, as a Fee-paid Tribunal Judge, Mental Health Tribunal for Wales in 2021, and as a Deputy District Judge in 2022.
