The Senior President of Tribunals has appointed Samina Iqbal to be a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber with effect from 2 September 2024.
Samina Iqbal will be known as Judge Iqbal. She was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 1999. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2006 and as a Deputy Judge of the Upper Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2024.
