Master of The King’s Bench Division: Armstrong
The King has appointed Richard Armstrong to be a Master of the King’s Bench Division on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has assigned him to the King’s Bench Division with effect from 1 November 2023.
Richard Armstrong will be known as Master Armstrong. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1994. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013 and as a District Judge in 2018.
