New Family Division Liaison Judge Appointed
The President of the Family Division, following consultation with the Lord Chancellor, has announced the appointment of a Family Division Liaison Judge.
Mr Justice Poole has been appointed as the Family Division Liaison Judge for the North Eastern Circuit, for a period of four years, with effect from 1 October 2021 where he will succeed Mr Justice Cobb.
Background:
The Hon Mr Justice Poole was called to the Bar, Middle Temple, in 1989, and took Silk in 2012. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2009, as a Deputy High Court Judge in 2017 and a High Court Judge (Family Division) in 2020.
