Judge Greg Sinfield retires as President of the First-tier Tribunal (Tax Chamber) with effect from 1 May 2025.
Background information
Judge Sinfield was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 1981 and admitted as a Solicitor in 1989. He was appointed as a Judge of the Upper Tribunal and assigned to the Tax and Chancery Chamber in 2012. He was appointed President of the First-tier Tribunal (Tax Chamber) in 2017 and a Senior Judicial Commissioner of the Judicial Appointments Commission in 2020.
