Neil Froom has been appointed as a Resident Judge of the First-tier Tribunal on the advice of The Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Keith Lindblom.

The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned him to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber with effect from 5th September 2022.

Background

Neil Froom, who will be known as Resident Judge Froom, qualified as a solicitor in 1986 and began sitting as a fee-paid Judge in the Immigration and Asylum Chamber (IAC) in 2002 and the Social Entitlement Chamber (SEC) in 2005. He was appointed as a salaried judge in the IAC in 2010.
