Salaried Costs Judge (Taxing Master) Appointment: Erwin-Jones
The King has appointed Sarah Erwin-Jones to be a Salaried Costs Judge (Taxing Master) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP, and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to Senior Courts Costs Office with effect from 1 August 2026.
Background Information
Sarah Erwin-Jones will be known as Costs Judge Erwin-Jones. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1993. She was appointed as a Deputy Costs Judge in 2013.
