The Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr Of Walton-On-The-Hill has appointed Her Honour Judge McCabe to be a Senior Circuit Judge, Designated Family Judge, based at Birmingham Civil & Family Justice Centre, with effect from 1 December 2025.
Louise McCabe will continue to be known as Her Honour Judge McCabe. She was called to the bar in 1996. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013, and as a District Judge in 2018. In 2021, she was appointed as a Circuit Judge.
