The Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr Of Walton-On-The-Hill has appointed Her Honour Judge Thain to be a Senior Circuit Judge, Designated Family Judge, based at Chelmsford County & Family Court, with effect from 4 January 2027.
Background Information
Ashley Thain will continue to be known as Her Honour Judge Thain. She was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1996. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2018 and a Circuit Judge in 2021.
