Senior Circuit Judge of the Employment Appeal Tribunal Appointment: James Tayler
The Queen has appointed James Tayler to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP.
The Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has appointed him to be a Senior Circuit Judge of the Employment Appeal Tribunal, based at the Rolls Building, Central London, with effect from 27 July 2020.

James Tayler, aged 55, will be known as His Honour Judge James Tayler.
He was called to the Bar (M) in 1989. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Employment Judge of the Employment Tribunal (England and Wales) in 2001 and as an Employment Judge of the Employment Tribunal (England and Wales) in 2007.
